How long is an apprenticeship?
The length of an apprenticeship is determined by what an employer deems necessary to be fully trained for the role. Most programs are 2-4 years to complete.
How much does an apprentice make?
Each employer determines the pay scale of their apprenticeship program. They establish a starting wage, then must establish incremental merit-based increases within the timeframe of the their program.
What does an apprentice’s schedule look like?
An apprentice will work at least 40 hours per week. They can expect 8-10 additional hours per week of academic training and homework.
Can an employer have more than one apprenticeship program?
Yes. An employer can apprentice multiple roles within their organization.
What are the roles I can get by completing an apprenticeship?
Just about anything. We can work with employers to build a program that makes sense for their needs.
When can I start an apprenticeship?
An apprentice can start with an employer anytime. Academic training will start according the academic calendar of the training provider.
Do I have to wait until I graduate high school to start an apprenticeship?
No. We work with employers to place high school students in work base learning programs that can count toward completion of an apprenticeship program while still being a high school student.
If I have been in the workforce for a while after high school, is it too late to start an apprenticeship?
No. Anyone can start an apprenticeship at any age.
